Day 196 | July 4, 2012 - Wednesday
The 4th of July is usually a low-key holiday for us. Most years are spent at home, Pete working late, and Connor and I staying up to watch the neighbors fireworks and lighting our own sparklers. This year we headed out with friends and it was the best year yet!

I couldn't resist dressing the girls in matching outfits...I'll only get to do this for so long :)
In honor of Miss Kelsey's First 4th...she had a special outfit for the occasion.
That evening we headed over to a friend's house and enjoyed delicious food, a few drinks, and a pretty spectacular fireworks show in the front yard. We asked a friend of ours to snap a few pics and after 10-12 attempts we gave up...getting all five of us smiling and looking at the camera may be impossible.
