Day 234 | August 21, 2012 - Tuesday
My shopping buddy...she slept the whole time we were at Target. She truly is a dream!
Day 235 | August 22, 2012 - Wednesday
We thought we were prepared for school but learned that Connor outgrew his shoes within weeks of going back. So we were off to the mall to find the perfect pair and he found them. Success!!!

Day 236 | August 23, 2012 - Thursday
Our bi-yearly trip to Shands Hospital in Gainesville for Paige and Bree's neurology appointment with Dr. Carney. We started the morning at 4:30am and headed northwest 2½ hours for their first appointment at the EEG lab. The techs brought us back (me with Bree and Pete with Paige) to being mapping and connecting the electrodes. Bree did wonderful, sitting quietly and enjoying the attention. Paige however did not have the same luck. When it comes to doctors, examination tables, touching, gloves--all of it give her anxiety. After several attempt to map her head the tech gave up and told me I would have to reschedule. This did NOT make me happy and I made sure they knew that. So, a few minutes later another tech came out and answered my prayers. She was amazing with Paige and before I knew it they started the testing. The strobes always calm her and just as usual she fell asleep right after.
After the EEG we headed over to Dr. Carney's office were we discussed our concerns and the result of the test. We made the decision to keep the girls on the Lamictal and Topamax and added Concerta to Paige's med list. More on that later...
