Day 141

Happy Birthday to my sweet, intelligent, and funny little guy. I can't believe he's 11 years old and will soon be a middle schooler. He's really grown this past year especially--both physically and emotionally. He's an amazing sone, a wonderful big brother, and (it's hard to imagine,but) a sweet 'boyfriend' to his little friend McKenzie. I love him more and more every day and can't wait to see what he will become.

Day 138

Let's celebrate!

Every year Connor's birthday party gets bigger and bigger and this year was crazy. We started off the day with a Luau themed pool party with water games, limbo, and a fun photo cutout. The kids then sang 'Happy Birthday' while Connor blew the candles out on his beach themed cupcakes I worked ever so hard on. There was punch, chips, and fruit kabobs for snacks (boy can those kid eat). Pete grilled up some hamburgers and hotdogs while I set out the potato salad and coleslaw. 

What a fun and exhausting day...a day I hope Connor will never forget!

Happy Birthday Amber!

Today the family attended a 6th birthday party for our good friend's daughter Amber. There was a 75' bounce house obstacle course, yummy food, and lots of fun and laughter. We all had so much fun that all 6 of us were in bed by 7:30pm!
