Taking all four kids out to lunch is usually exhausting--chasing Paige and Kelsey around, comforting Bree after a fall, and telling Connor he will never eat a large malt. It was still nice to get out of the house...

Day 168
I've been contemplating offering 4th of July Mini Session to my clients and thought I'd whip up a quick backdrop to test out. Oh course my beautiful girls were more than will to model for me. Not feeling the set up but they sure do look cute!

Day 152
Just call me Mrs. DIY!
Yup, I build this pretty sweet sand box with my two little hands and I couldn't be more proud of myself. The girls love playing in sand and will entertain themselves for hours playing outside, so their own custom sand box was quickly in the works. I looked up the design online, bought the supplies at Home Depot and got to building. It took me about 5 hours to do (only because I was having to constantly stop to attend to the girls) and a whopping $131.99 to build and that includes the sand. It's going to be such a fun summer for the girls!
I love the bench seats and how it folds closed to keep critters out.
All closed up and waiting for next play time.

Day 132
Today started like most Sundays. I usually get to sleep in but what that means is if you can sleep through the screaming and banging in your bedroom door than you can sleep. So, up and at 'em at 8:15am! I made the girls their usual Sunday breakfast, got them dress and went shopping for plants for the back yard. There was crying, yelling, hair pulling, shoe throwing, drinks spilled, buggers smeared into the hair...all before lunch. Then I came home, made the girls lunch, put Kelsey down for a nap, took the twins in the pool, got them dressed, woke up Kelsey, folded laundry, swept the floor, stopped fights, wiped stinky bottomsx3, picked up an entire box of cookies that were dumped out, pushed play 47 times in the dvr, feed them dinner, picked out their jammies, gave them a bath, read stories, kissed booboos, said 'No' for the bazillionth time, welcomed Connor home, put the girls to bed, caught up on Connor's weekend, started his Social Studies project.
Some days are tougher than others but I love my little kiddos and I would trade them for the world.

Day 131
The girls, my mom, and my mother-in-law attended the Boston Whaler company picnic today. My MIL Pauline works there and we've attend the event for several years now...it's always a good time. We enjoyed a delicious lunch from Jason's Corner in New Smyrna and ice cream from Schwann's. The most exciting part of the day was the boat ride along the intercoastal. Paige and Bree loved it...as for Miss Kelsey, the little booger fell asleep! We enjoyed all the activities and really wore the girls out.
Kelsey loved seeing her cousin Teagan.
