Taking all four kids out to lunch is usually exhausting--chasing Paige and Kelsey around, comforting Bree after a fall, and telling Connor he will never eat a large malt. It was still nice to get out of the house...

Day 155

Last day of school for the kiddos! It's amazing how much they change in just one school year. I love looking back over the years and comparing. Unfortunately I flubbed up and switched the girls shirts, so they're not wearing the exact outfit they wore on the first day. And there was just no way Connor was going to fit in his shorts, so those are new. Before I know it I will have a sixth grader and two first graders!

 Day 154

Connor celebrated with his entire 5th grade class today at their End of Year party. The theme was Summer at the Beach and the kids had a blast. The graduating class was served Dustin's BBQ and Chick-fil-a for lunch, cake and cinnamon rolls for dessert. DJ Big Tom was there playing their favorite songs 

and I (Liz Coderre Photography) provided the Shoot Booth service.

Day 151

Our baby boy graduated today...he's officially a middle-schooler. His graduation ceremony was this morning and he was definitely the most handsome one there...suit and all! He's had an amazing elementary career with Honor Roll every semester since 1st grade and being a member of many after school clubs. This kid has an amazing future ahead of him and I'm enjoying watching every day go by as he becomes a mature young man.

Day 148

Taking the kiddos out to dinner doesn't happen too often. Luckily we found a place with arcade games to keep them entertained with mommy and daddy had a very quick, quiet moment together.

Day 141

Happy Birthday to my sweet, intelligent, and funny little guy. I can't believe he's 11 years old and will soon be a middle schooler. He's really grown this past year especially--both physically and emotionally. He's an amazing sone, a wonderful big brother, and (it's hard to imagine,but) a sweet 'boyfriend' to his little friend McKenzie. I love him more and more every day and can't wait to see what he will become.

Day 138

Let's celebrate!

Every year Connor's birthday party gets bigger and bigger and this year was crazy. We started off the day with a Luau themed pool party with water games, limbo, and a fun photo cutout. The kids then sang 'Happy Birthday' while Connor blew the candles out on his beach themed cupcakes I worked ever so hard on. There was punch, chips, and fruit kabobs for snacks (boy can those kid eat). Pete grilled up some hamburgers and hotdogs while I set out the potato salad and coleslaw. 

What a fun and exhausting day...a day I hope Connor will never forget!

Day 137

Yup...another trip to Seaworld. This was a special trip, though. Connor, along with the entire 5th grade, had their fifth grade field trip to the theme park. The kids had a blast and by the end of the day everyone was exhausted. Great day was had by all.
