September 29th | Kelsey is 11 months!

Day 273 | September 29, 2012 - Saturday

Miss Kelsey is 11 months old!
It still hasn't sunk in that she will be 1 year old in just a few short weeks. This past month has been a whirlwind of milestone for our littlest babe. She now weighs 17lbs 8oz (barely on the growth chart) and is 30 inches (we have tall babies!). She is a full-fledged walker and spends 95% of her time on her feet with a few fast-paced walks here and there. She is feeding herself at every meal and is still breast-feed (a personal milestone for me).

She is going through terrible "11months" instead of "terrible two's" although having Paige and Bree as role model does not help! She gets into everything, pulls dirt diapers out of the pail, dumps cereal on the floor, pulls sissy's hair, steals toys, screams, drags everything out of cabinets--it's all quite cute but drives me nuts when I have three naughty girls make three separate messes.

She's by far the best sleeper of all my kiddos with a morning nap (1hr), afternoon nap (1.5-2 hrs), and bed every night at 8:00pm.

She's still wearing 6-9 month clothes although the onesies and footed pjs are a little too short for her. She's still in size 3 diapers and size 3 shoes.

Her favorite toys are baby dolls...you can see her favorite baby in some of the pics below. She gives them hugs and carries them everywhere.

This monthly session was my toughest. She had no interest in sitting still or even looking at the camera. If I wasn't so exhausted from the previous crazy week I would have re-shot this put I figured it shows her  personality just as it is at this time in her life.

Her verbal comprehension amazes me sometimes. I will ask her to give sissy a hug and she'll go to Bree and lay on her to give her love. She understand many verbal commands like sit, stand, stop, come, dance (you can see some of her dance moves HERE), and clap.

She still has the same few words (mama, dada, whassat (what's that?), baba, and umma (which means she wants to nurse).

Wonder what this next month will bring?
